The kids absolutely loved the pool area, especially our 6-year-old who couldn't get enough of the fun pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of choices to keep everyone in the family happy. We also appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms, making our stay even more pleasant.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if the resort had a dedicated children's play area.

We greatly enjoyed our time here. Location, walking distance to all attractions. Taste the food in Coffee Temple, you only need to walk 500 feet to reach it. A good stay in Varkala...

We loved the hotel's perfect location. It's a short walk away from the busy kick of the city and the beach is right there which was great. The staff was exceptional and accommodated all our requests willingly. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had something different every day. The rooms were clean, spacious and the comfortable beds are worth mentioning.
No negatives to report.

The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with amenities that met our needs. The location was great, close to key tourist attractions and easily accessible by public transport. Plus, the food was delicious and the breakfast offered a good variety of options.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The air conditioning didn't always work properly, and it could get quite humid during the day.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming resort just a short walk from the beach and all the shacks. The rooms were a bit old, but comfortable enough for a short stay. I was pleased to find basic amenities like a flat screen TV, hot/cold water, and AC. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, making me feel right at home. I also appreciated the attention to detail, with lovely walls painted to look like tiles in the rooms. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of delicious options, from cakes to cookies and idiyappam to poori.
All was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

The resort had a nice garden, very calming and well-maintained. the pool was clean and surrounded by comfortable loungers. Location was good, within walking distance to a market and only a short walk to the beach. the staff was friendly and accommodating, greeting us with a smile.
The Christmas dinner was not up to expectations, the food was mediocre and not very tasty. the room we were assigned was not clean properly and it smelled musty.

The room at Deshadan Cliff & Beach Resort had a great view of the pool, which made me feel relaxed and tranquil. The TV with cable channels was a nice addition for some entertainment. I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water and blackout drapes/curtains, which made my stay even more comfortable. The bath robes and free toiletries provided were a nice touch, adding a touch of luxury to my experience. as a laid-back guest, I felt really pleased with the amenities and ambiance of the room.
As a personal preference, I found the showers in the bathroom a bit too small. However, others may still find them perfectly functional and enjoyable.

The staff was so cool and friendly, they made us feel like rockstars. The breakfast was bomb, especially the fresh fruit juices. The pool was great for chilling and the rooms were big enough for us to party all night. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk from the buzzing cliff area. We had the best time with our friends!
That there wasn't a happening nightlife scene nearby. We wished there was a cool party spot where we could dance the night away.
